About Herff Jones
Herff Jones has a rich and storied history of growth and innovation. Founded in 1920 by Harry Herff and Randall Jones in an old fire engine building on Capitol Avenue in downtown Indianapolis, the company began by manufacturing class rings, medals, pins, and other emblematic jewelry. During the 1940s, Herff Jones contributed to the war effort by manufacturing bullet dies and was later commissioned to produce the Bronze Star.
Over the years, Herff Jones has expanded its product offerings to include graduation announcements and accessories, diplomas, caps and gowns, diploma frames, championship rings, and educational learning materials. With manufacturing facilities across the United States, the company serves thousands of clients, including colleges, high schools, middle schools, grade schools, churches, commercial firms, sports teams, movie studios, cheer and dance gyms, and even courtrooms nationwide.
Herff Jones is proud to be the exclusive provider of Herff Jones Championship Jewelry and holds the rights to use official championship logos. The special "Team Jewelry" site is dedicated to Herff Jones Champions, offering event championship rings and custom-designed rings for gyms or teams. These rings symbolize the celebration of a champion’s achievements.
Herff Jones has also played a pivotal role in transforming cheerleading into the dynamic, athletic, and high-profile activity it is today. By combining high-energy entertainment with traditional school leadership, the organization has fostered an international phenomenon, now embraced by millions of young Americans and a rapidly growing number of participants worldwide.
